Dix Park will complement our state’s unique system of nationally recognized parks and greenways, helping attract millions of national and international visitors.
All North Carolinians will have a voice in master planning and its future use. Planning will include open areas, an amphitheater, education seminars, and other events and amenities such as playgrounds and athletic areas. But always, above all else, recognizing and preserving the Power of Nature is our legacy for future generations.
We talk of our mastery of nature, which sounds very grand; but the fact is we respectfully adapt ourself, first, to her ways.
